Arizona Renaissance Festival
Arizona Renaissance Festival
2012 Dates – Saturdays and Sundays February 11 – April 1 And Monday February 20 President’s Day!
Including 12 stages of live shows, an outdoor circus, an arts and crafts fair, jousting and a day long feast, the Arizona Renaissance Festival (ARF) is one of the most amazing fairs of the year. Starting in February ARF helps start the Ren Fair season. Apache Junction, AZ transforms into a small medieval/renaissance village.
Seeing as this fair is part of the Royal Faires family and the sister-faire of the Carolina Renaissance Festival you will see a lot of the same shows that you get to enjoy at the Carolina Festival. From the Tortuga Twins to Ded Bob and Hanlon-Lees there are some ren faire circuit favorites that are at this enormous fair each year. Besides the groups that travel the ren fair circuit you will see wome west coast favorites and some local acts that will blow your mind. Make sure to check out Nied Fyre and Ghazaal Beledi World Music & Dance when you attend.
The merchants that make up the artisan fair make this fair something to behold. To a look at the list below. There is a merchant for every taste. Looking for a sword: Starfire and Sabersmith are both at this fair. Looking for Pottery they have half a dozen potters. Jewelry? There is more jewelry at this fair then you will ever see anywhere else in one fair. Merchants at a ren fair have as much to do with making the fair work as the shows and the cast members that roam the streets. Royal Faires brings some of the best vendors and merchants together and that helps make the fairs they run at the top of the charts.
If you are in Arizona and you don’t make ARF a stop on your vacation you are missing out.

Map to event:

Hi there, You’ve done an excellent job. I will certainly digg it and for my part recommend to my friends. I am confident they will be benefited from this site.
I love the REN FAIRE here! It’s about that time and I’m so excited. Well minus the Trek fans that come dsseerd up I think our town thinks its’ a Halloween fair? We also have Belly Dancers which I’m pretty sure A) are not true to the times and B) most of the girls should NOT be showing their belly or make it giggle! They have a lot of great arts and crafts but none of the awesome beer or ax throwing, but to be fair it’s very small. Every year we look forward to roaming around to check out the people watching though. I really need to go to the BIG Ren faire that’s held in Tennessee!kelly @ Dare to be Domestic s last [type] ..
I have to say that for the past few of hours i have been hooked by the impressive articles on this site. Keep up the wonderful work.
