Minstrels of Mayhem

Come on all you MOMHeads and celebrate all that is the Minstrels of Mayhem!  Though their ranks have swelled to include many other performers, the founding members, Jerry “Pompador” Barry and Ty “Medlodio” Billings, have always been the heart of the group.  Strings of their guitars ring true as these minstrels bring their flavor of music and comedy to the stage at faires all over the country.

Whether you are looking for musicians that are masters at their art or comedy, the Minstrels of Mayhem are exactly what you are looking for.  Sometimes you will catch them with a fuller sound adding in percussion and a bass guitar and sometimes it will just be Pompador and Medlodio.  Their rousing music will lead you to their stage and their humor and their skill will make sure you stay for the whole show.

This group does traditional shantys and folk sounding tunes but the majority of what they do is their own original music.  It is one thing for a group of musicians to produce high quality but it is something else entirely for a group to write and play their own music.

If you are looking for a good example of the Minstrels of Mayhem, here are a few of my favorites:
